"As a boy I would go on long trips with my father (a Photographer himself) and he would let me entertain myself with his camera's (often with no film). I would find myself taking imaginary pictures as I clicked the shutter over and over again. My father taught me the basics and fundamentals of what it takes to be a good photographer, business man, and family man.
After spending 2 years in the San Francisco area I chose to return to medford, where I met my wonderful wife crystal and together have grown Rogue Studios into what is is today.
My passion for photography is not to just capture a photograph but to stop a moment in time that tells a story for ever. It could be a special look from a loved one, a game winning touch down, or that new "widget" for your store website. My outlook is that there can be a great photograph anywhere and if you cant find it your just not looking hard enough.
SHAWNA ALLEN Transplanted in Oregon in 1974, I have grown up enjoying the beauty that surrounds us. Raised by an avid outdoor family I have a passion for nature, its beauty and light. Photography is the most amazing avenue in which to grab hold and forever suspend the memory of that moment. Being captivated by the emotions that can be obtained from photography I always had an interest, but did not pursue my desire until later in life. As a mother of many children I realize the value one single image can hold. I have been told time and time again, “If my house was on fire and my family was safe the one thing I would grab would be my pictures.” This is because they are valuable treasures, priceless memories, and a tangible way to go back in time.
I am honored by all whom I share moments with capturing the heart behind the image and giving a timeless treasure to be enjoyed for years to come.
